The Champions League draw threw up surprisingly easy groups, barring Group G. Where AC Milan were drawn against Real Madrid, Ajax and Auxerre. The competition starts on the 14^th of September.

Games involving Manchester United V Rangers; Werder Bremen V Tottenham; Bayern V Roma; Real Madrid V Ajax should be the games to watch out for on Matchday 1.

In the EPL this week, I’m looking forward to Blackburn V Arsenal. Wenger is already trying to sway the referee to look out for Rovers man-handling his young lads.

Aston Villa V Everton is a game in which both teams have not kicked off their respective campaigns with any real urgency and they might just want to get things rolling.
