The Champions League draw took place last night. It might just be me, but it felt scripted and too predictable. All the drama about Ex-managers making returns to their old clubs, players coming back to face their previous clubs.

It was good in a way for teams like Sevilla, CSKA, Olympiakos, Bordeaux have all got a fair chance of progressing to the next round. The Champions League does not recommence till the 16th of February, and a lot will change till then.

The Europa Legue had it's draw yesterday as well and threw up some interesting encounters. Most notably Fulham take on Shakhtar Donetsk, Everton have a tough opponent in Sporting Lisbon and Liverpool meet Unirea Urziceni, who also came through the champions league.

Getting back to the EPL, my tips for the weekend games

Manchester City V Sunderland  3-0 (good bet to use your Joker)

West Ham United V Chelsea  1-3

Wigan Athletic V Bolton Wanderers  1-1
